- The Catalyst 7X3 features PLD technology in the shaft that optimizes 25 layers of carbon fiber and is designed with an advanced laminate construction to reduce overall weight without impacting durability. The laminate construction optimizes fiber angles and provides both improved stiffness and impact strength. The carbon fiber and laminate are not the same quality as the 9X3 but will still provide great strength. The shaft shape has square corners with double concave for better feel.
